about

The truth is out there. Hidden in the inner workings of those behind the project, we now unveil the real story. A brand new label, which has been worked on for months, unleashes its first release, and its first four tearing neurofunk tracks.

Ignescent Recordings present IGNT001, Ignescent Me, featuring music from NickBee, Agressor Bunx, ChaseR and oneBYone and Ember. Under the auspices of the label, the project is looking to go to the very top, by getting the best music out there to as many people as possible, putting every effort into its electronic and vinyl releases.

And if the first issue is anything to go by, you’ll want these tracks in your life. NickBee’s Armata is a sweeping, swooping piece of music, starting off with the producer’s usual considered styles, straying into complex electronic melodies, before launching some serious low end. Armata is a great introduction to the sound of Ignescent, offering some very cutting edge sounds, but still with a soid basis of experience and knowledge.

Agressor Bunx contribute Immortals, digging deep into the underground. The tune builds up over several different levels, with the producers bringing sounds forward before dropping them back down. Serious beats vie with sliding and slamming bass effects. If you’re into neuro, you’ll love this sound. If not, you better get to know.

Interloper is ChaseR’s cut, creeping up on your from afar. This one quickly gets down to business, never missing a trick in its dancefloor destination. Razor sharp drums dominate, but listen close enough, and
you’ll hear just how much work has gone into establishing the Interloper.

And closing out the release is a collaboration between oneBYone and Ember, entitled Scream. Massive, massive, massive, as the producers team up to assault your senses with strings, breaks, vocals and samples which will leave you gasping for air. Slicing through the ether, straight into your soul, you better prepare to Scream.

Ignescent might be a new label, but it’s unknown no more.
